Our Statement of Faith

The core biblical convictions that shape everything we build — from the chatbot's answers to every article we publish.

AskChrist.org is an independent, non-denominational Christian project. We hold to the central truths of the historic Christian faith — the beliefs shared across church traditions for two thousand years — and we keep them at the center of everything on this site.

These convictions guide how our AI is prompted, what we publish, and how we answer the honest questions people bring here every day.

    What We Believe

    The Bible Is God's Word

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God — the final authority for faith and practice. All of our answers, articles, and guidance are anchored in Scripture, and we always encourage readers to study the Word for themselves (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105).

    Jesus Christ Is Lord

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God — fully God and fully human — who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead, and now offers salvation to all who believe in Him (John 3:16; Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

Salvation Is by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ — not earned by good works, religious rituals, or human effort (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5).

God Exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe in one eternal God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers, producing the fruit of the Spirit in their lives (Matthew 28:19; Galatians 5:22–23).

    Prayer and Spiritual Growth Matter

We believe every believer is invited into a personal relationship with God through prayer, Scripture reading, and fellowship. Our prayer tools exist to encourage that relationship — never to replace it (Philippians 4:6–7; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

The Church and Personal Community Are Essential

We believe the local church and trusted Christian community play a vital role in the life of a believer. AskChrist.org is a study tool and a starting point — not a substitute for pastoral care, church, or real-life fellowship (Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42).

    What This Means in Practice

    • Every AI answer is instructed to draw from the Bible and the teachings of Jesus — and to cite Scripture so you can verify it yourself.
    • We avoid speculation, denominational debates, and claims the Bible does not clearly make.
    • We point people back to God's Word, to prayer, and to their local church — never to us. This site is a tool, not a teacher.
    • The AI does not represent or speak for Jesus Christ. It is a study companion shaped by these convictions. See our full AI disclaimer in the Privacy Policy & Terms.
